1. How can photocopying, printing and scanning be used in the library?

   • The investor can obtain a credit by opening an account in the same library and carrying a trademark and paying an amount of (1 Kuwaiti Dinar) for a minimum of (50) photocopies

      

2. How are photocopying and printing fees paid?

   • Payment is made by automatic payment (K-Net) only

      

3. What are the photocopying and printing service times in libraries?

   • Photocopying service times in the morning of the official working hours of the libraries:

     • From Sunday to Thursday from 8-2 pm

     • Except for Jaber Al-Ahmad Central Library - Shuwaikh, service from 8-8 pm

        

4. Is it possible to photocopy books and study notes from outside the library?

   • Limited to library holdings only

      

5. Can a spy book be filmed

   • Photographing spying and not falling into the pages of the page (50) Intellectual property rights

      

6. Is photocopying of theses allowed?

   • Theses are only allowed to copy the abstract, description of contents and list of references in consideration of intellectual property

      

7. Is there a photocopying service using a scanner (scanner)?

   • Yes, there is a service for photocopying scanner products by creating photos of 20 FILS per sheet, storing them on mobile storage devices (flash memory) or sending them to e-mail

    

8. What are the photography rules for manuscripts?

   • Original manuscripts: Photocopying is permitted only for faculty members and postgraduate students enrolled in Kuwait University, and the number of pages does not exceed (50) pages

   • Illustrated manuscripts: by photographing all categories of beneficiaries, and it is possible to photograph them completely

      

9. What are the fees for photocopying in libraries?

   • A4 and F4 Black 20 FILS per sheet Color 150 FILS per sheet

   • Black 40 FILS per sheet Color 200 FILS per sheet

      

10. What is the maximum limit for the free photocopying service for faculty members?

    • Maximum (600) per week from all libraries

Photographing and copying manuscripts

Various types of Islamic sciences, arts and literature, which are organized in a suitable environment to avoid damage. The collection of manuscripts is located on the third floor of the Jaber Al-Ahmad Central Library, and it is allowed to borrow its contents, but it can be photographed only for faculty members and postgraduate students enrolled in Kuwait University, and the number of pages does not exceed (50)

Copying scientific films

• Services include:

  • A library of scientific films

  • Copies of video tapes and cassettes that are requested from work centers and colleges for distinguished activities

  • Loaning technical equipment to colleges and scientific departments

  • Montage service

  • Participate in the sound and processing of multiple technologies in the university
