Loaning at Kuwait University Libraries:

• Lending books in various specializations based on the policy followed by the Libraries Department.

Cooperative Loan:

• A service to provide the required materials in the event that they are not available at Kuwait University Libraries through cooperation with libraries in different universities in the GCC countries.

Loaning from the British Library:
 

• This service is available to faculty members and researchers at Kuwait University in cooperation with the British Library.

Loan renewal

• The borrower renews the loan of borrowed materials through the automated system on the same date specified for the loaned materials’ due date, a maximum of two times. When there is a need to renew for the third time, the borrower must visit the library in question

• External borrowers renew borrowed materials upon reviewing the library in question

   

Photocopying service is available for the indicated materials that are not permitted to be loaned

• Scientific periodicals, references, manuscripts, rare books, and original Arabic scientific theses

• Reserved materials that are reserved by faculty members or the library.

• United Nations publications.
